Concord and the surrounding towns are recognized for some of the highest quality public education systems in New Hampshire. 

Concord is acknowledged by Expansion Management magazine as a Gold Medal district, scoring well above the national average in academics, community educational attainments, and funding.

Concord's grammar school system is a neighborhood school system. The Concord School District includes eight (8) public elementary schools, as well as a junior and senior high school.

The Concord area's private schools also attract students from adjacent cities and towns, and from around the country. These include: 

St. John's Regional Elementary and Junior High School in Concord
Bishop Brady High School in Concord
Concord Christian School and Trinity Christian School of Concord 
St. Paul's School, a nationally recognized co-educational preparatory school in Concord 
Derryfield School in Manchester, a co-educational preparatory school 
Concord Community Music School, which offers an award-winning music curriculum
